How to become an introducing broker

In the dynamic world of financial markets, the role of an Introducing Broker (IB) is crucial as it acts as the bridge connecting traders and brokers. This opportunity is best suited for individuals with a strong trading audience, such as financial educators, signal service providers, and fund managers. If you aspire to become an IB with Vantage and kick-start your journey, this article will guide you through the process.

What is an Introducing Broker?

An IB has a direct working relationship with clients but does not execute trades directly. The actual trades are made by the broker with whom the IB partners. An IB may bring in clients through marketing, but they take it a step further by providing services and consultation. They can work to create an in-depth, long-term relationship with clients.

Through this partnership, brokers will gain new clients, while the IB is able to earn a commission from this collaboration. Various broker platforms present differing commission payout rates and trading requirements. Before becoming an IB, it is important to thoroughly research brokers to find the one that best aligns with your interests and to gain a clear understanding of the IB program’s payout structure.

How to be an Introducing Broker?

You can easily get started as an IB with Vantage in just 3 steps:

1. Register on the Vantage Partners Introducing Broker Page

To become a part of the Vantage IB program, start by visiting the Vantage IB page. There, you can learn more about the Introducing Broker program and the unique roles of the Introducing Broker, Clearing Broker, and Executing Broker

For a better understanding of the roles, you can read our article comparing Introducing Broker vs. Executing Broker. This comparison will provide you with insights into the IB role and how it relates to others.

Once you have a clear understanding, simply fill out the Vantage IB registration form at the bottom of the page. Provide your full name, email address, country of residence, phone code, and phone number. Please ensure that you enter your correct country of residence, as we have certain restrictions on IB applications from specific countries.

2. Account Verification

To become an IB with Vantage, you must complete the account verification process. This involves submitting documents such as proof of identity and address. Verification is a mandatory requirement when opening an account with Vantage to ensure that your identity is verified.

Before applying to be an IB, make sure you have your Live Account set up. Click here to sign up for a live account if you don’t have one already.

Having a Live Account is necessary for managing your trading activities and tracking your referrals once you become an IB with Vantage. Once your account verification is complete, your account manager will contact you again to finalize your IB agreement, enabling you to begin your journey as an IB with Vantage.

3. Account Confirmation

An email will be sent out by the Vantage partners team once your IB account has been activated. You can then log in to the IB portal and find your unique IB referral link on the side toolbar to start referring clients.

The link will be generated there, and it will be uniquely yours to share with all your clients. Additionally, the IB portal is where you can find all the important details, such as your clients’ trading activities, total earned commission, and available balance for withdrawals.

If you face any problems and need further assistance with your IB account, you can always contact [email protected] or your Account Manager to help get it resolved.
